A childcare centre that prioritizes providing child care for Interior Health staff, licensed for 15 spaces.

The Fairview Early Learning Centre waitlist is currently open to the community. There are spaces available for children aged 3-5. Email for more information.

The Fairview Early Learning Centre opened in October 2025.  The facility is a newly constructed, one-level, open plan design allowing easy adaptations of the space for different uses.  There is plenty of natural light in the building as well as access to outdoor play space.

The Fairview Early Learning Centre offers care for fifteen children aged 3 to 5-years-old. This is a small relationship-based program that values time outdoors in the nearby forest, open ended play, and being connected with community. Materials and activities are dynamic and engaging to foster physical, emotional, intellectual, creative and social growth.

We utilize the British Columbia’s Early Learning Framework as well as work with The Early Childhood Pedagogy Network to guide and support our Educators in providing rich early learning experiences for young children. We incorporate Indigenous programming into our curriculum with the support of community Elders who share stories, drumming and songs with the children. We are an inclusive space where all people and all voices are welcomed and celebrated.

For in depth information about the Fairview Early Learning Centre programming, parents can find useful information in the Parent Handbook which explains the policies and procedures of the centre.
